Cancer survivors more often turn to prayer, relaxation, medication, vitamin supplements and / or massage in addition to their normal medical industry based treatment.
The use of biofeedback in addition to standard cancer treatment is as rare as homeopathy and acupressure. The rarity is due to lack of research funds available to the public and to the medical community to expand it's use. Biofeedback therapy can be very time and resource consuming. This causes the treatment to be much higher in price then a supplement, meditation or prayer option.
Economics are always a factor in choosing which treatment you can do and which treatment is best for your needs. Biofeedback therapy primary uses are stress and pain management. Since pain and stress is often associtated with cancer treatment so it makes sense that biofeedback is considered complementary.
